Rosanna Morris

Botanical Print’s Rooted in Nature

Welcome. I’m Rosanna Morris—printmaker, illustrator, and teacher based in the UK,
working at the intersection of handmade craft, botanical drawing, and earth-based inks.

I create original linocut and woodcut prints, teach printmaking workshops, take on illustration commissions for people I love and run a community print studio I co-founded in Bristol. My work is grounded in a deep connection to the land, using earth pigments, and natural materials to explore themes of place, ecology, and human connection to the land.

‘ Rosannas work is at once beautiful and powerful. Her ambitious and masterful lino prints celebrate the natural world and the forms of plants aswell as advocating for sustainable farming practices and calling for positive social change. We think of her Bread and Roses print as encapsulating a great deal of what her work is about – the right for every persons basic needs being met - 'Bread' but also the need for 'Roses' – beauty, art, and the things that make life worth living!’
