Sunflower - Ochre - Linocut Print
A1 hand carved design on salvaged linocut.
Dimensions - 80 X 50 CM
I use non toxic professional lightfast printmaking inks and wrap all my prints in plastic free packaging.
This Relief print is part of an open edition, the order is just for the print shown on handmade paper * does not come with wooden magnet hanger*. All my designs are carved and printed by hand and every single one of them is a unique reproduction. Naturally subtle variations in the inking and finish will occur from print to print, when you buy a hand pulled print you are choosing these subtle variations over digital reproductions.
Lokta is a native plant of the Himalayan foothills. It is a sustainable and renewable resource, plants are cropped above ground level and can be reharvested after 3-4 years. The papers are made using the traditional Nepalese floating mould method and sun dried on the frame.

When will you send my order?
I try and get to the post office once a week, usually on a Friday, although this can vary depending on my childcare missions.
At busy times (Christmas / when i release new prints) I sometimes experience high volumes of orders and as i’m a one woman show it can end up taking a little longer to get prints out. I hope that because you have chosen to support a small independent business you have already considered this and i thank you in advance for your patience.
Please note: Items that are listed as "Pre-Order" or "Made to Order" will take quite a bit longer - see individual listings for details.
How will you package my order?
Small prints : - will be sent in card backed envelopes and wrapped in tissue or newsprint.
Medium & Large Prints: Will be wrapped in tissue or newsprint and rolled into cardboard tubes. If you’ve ordered multiple prints i will wrap them all together.
Cards + Postcards: where possible i try to consolidate orders and post them all together. If there are too many items or they don’’t fit happily in a tube together i’ll likely send cards and postcards together in a card backed envelope and prints separately in a tube.
** I don’t send larger prints in flat packages as theres much more likelihood of damage when sent flat, especially internationally.
I recommend removing your prints from the tube as soon as you receive them, to allow them time to uncurl. It can help to place them flat under a heavy book!
How long will my order take to arrive?
Once posted, delivery times vary depending on where in the world you are - please note that due to local Coronavirus restrictions, many packages are taking longer than normal to arrive. I'm afraid this is out of my control.
As a rule of thumb:
UK: allow 2-3 working days for delivery
Europe: allow 5-7 working days for delivery
USA/Canada/Australia/ROW: allow 10-14 working days for delivery
In some parts of the world, items may need to clear customs - I'm afraid I have no control over customs delays or any customs charges that may be levied by regional authorities (apologies!).
Ive changed my mind, can i return my print?
Provided they are in perfect, saleable condition and still in their original packaging, you can return unwanted prints to me, though I'm afraid you'll need to pay for the return postage. Please contact me before you return anything so I can approve the return and confirm any relevant details!
My print was damaged in transit?
Please contact me straight away if your print has been damaged in transit (pictures are helpful), and where possible I will sort out a replacement ASAP.
When it's not possible to sort out a replacement, I will refund the full cost of the print including postage.
My print hasnt arrived?
It doesn't happen often, but occasionally prints do go astray in the postal system, especially when travelling internationally. There can be many reasons for the delay, and I've found that most do turn up eventually (often after a little stopover in customs somewhere).
Please allow up to 28 days for your print to arrive, but do contact me to let me know that you've not received your order within the timeframe outlined above. Where possible, I'll track it down and give you an updated arrival estimate - and where it really has gone missing, I'll either send out a replacement (if possible) or issue a full refund, as you prefer.
